Printing Soon + Final Tweaks Underway!
10 days ago – Wed, Apr 22, 2026 at 02:15:39 AM

Hey everyone!

We’ve hit a little slower patch than we had hoped, but we’re still moving forward steadily.

We’re keeping a close eye on global shipping costs, as fuel prices have been unpredictable. Because of that, we’ll wait until the last possible moment to lock in final shipping confirmations, so you get the most accurate and fair rates.

On the bright side, we’ve been making final tweaks to the production files to ensure we deliver the absolute best print quality. We want every card, token, and box to feel amazing.

We’re aiming for printing to kick off next week, and as soon as it does, we’ll be all hands on deck to fulfill your games as quickly as possible!

We’ve also added the art of the final stretch goal character: the Wizard! This mischievous goblin deals damage equal to your current essence. The real question is… will you spend your essence to save your goblins, or unleash it all to power up your Wizard?

Thanks so much for your patience and support. We’re so excited to get Goblin Party into your hands soon!

The last steps before production begins (We’re so close!)
about 1 month ago – Thu, Mar 26, 2026 at 04:40:37 AM

Hey everyone,

Time for another update!

This one might be a bit less flashy, but it’s an important step forward. We’ve now reviewed all production files together with our manufacturer. About 90% was already spot-on, but we’ve made a few key refinements to make sure everything is exactly how we want it before moving into manufacturing.

One of the biggest improvements is the box insert, or inlay. The initial template from the manufacturer didn’t quite match our vision, and more importantly, it didn’t hold sleeved cards as well as we’d like. So we went back, iterated, and tested, and we’ve now landed on a version we absolutely love.

The new insert holds sleeved cards much more securely, includes a finger slot so you can easily lift the cards out, and feels sturdier while making better use of the box space.

It’s one of those small details that makes a big difference in the final experience, and we’re really happy we took the time to get it right.

Overall, progress is steady. We’re in frequent contact with the manufacturer and feel very confident in both the process and the partnership. And yes, we still find ourselves playtesting now and then, purely for quality control.

As soon as manufacturing officially begins, we’ll share another update, hopefully with some behind the scenes photos from the production line.

And since we’ve already shared the Hobgoblin and Outrider variations with you, we’re excited to reveal another one: the Archer!

Thanks again for your support,

Final checkings before sending everything out to the manufacturer!
2 months ago – Tue, Feb 24, 2026 at 03:20:43 AM

Hey everyone,

It’s been a little quiet from our side. Not because things slowed down, quite the opposite.

We’ve been working non-stop finishing the game. Rulebook open, cards spread out, late nights polishing interactions and checking edge cases. Our rules & text editor Kevin went through everything a second time, and after that we did one more full pass ourselves. We’re now implementing the final tiny edits.

Playtesting is complete. The balance feels strong, the chaos is intact, big plays are still very much alive. It feels like Goblin Party, just sharper.

We also decided to add something: cardboard Damage Markers will be included in the box. We didn’t advertise it during the campaign. It’s not a stretch goal. We just felt it improves the experience, so we added it. This helps you keep track of any Goblins have been boosted.

The Warchiefs also received visual refinements for clarity and readability. Nothing dramatic, just cleaner, stronger, better.

And now the big step: we are sending the final files to the printer this weekend.

From here it’s the pre-production sample… and then manufacturing.

Goblin Party is about to become real.

Thank you for your patience while we’ve been deep in the goblin cave. We will keep you posted when the actual manufacturing starts!

Almost There: Playtesting, Polish, and the 5 Outriders
4 months ago – Thu, Jan 15, 2026 at 03:32:05 AM

Hey everyone!

Two more weeks before we send all the files to the manufacturer for checking, we’re really in the final stages now! That means lots of heavy playtesting, visual fine-tuning, and making sure the rulebook is something anyone can pick up and actually enjoy learning from.

Last time we shared the Hobgoblin variations, and a lot of you were excited to see more. So for this update, we’ve lined up the 5 Outriders, each with their own unique mount that fits their clan.

We’re still having a ton of fun playtesting, and it’s been really encouraging to see how well everything is coming together. We’re getting close to actual printing, which still feels a little unreal.

If you still want to grab a copy of Goblin Party, the Late Pledge will close once we send the files, so make sure to secure yours while you still can on BackerKit.

We can’t wait to get Goblin Party to your table!

Cheers,

Lars & Eric

Artwork Finalization: Right on Track for the New Year!
5 months ago – Tue, Dec 16, 2025 at 06:01:45 AM

Hey everyone,

It’s been almost four weeks since our last update, and we’ve hit some big milestones!

Eric has officially finished drawing all the Warchiefs, Monsters, and even the fund-goal goblins, giving several clans brand-new unique artwork. The only illustration still remaining is the printed cardboard inlay for the box, after that, the art side will be 100% complete.

We’re right on schedule to have all files finalized by the end of January. From here on out, the focus is on cleaning up the last typos in the rulebook, completing final rounds of playtesting, and making sure every detail, from the back of the box to the final page of the rulebook, is accurate and ready for print.

For anyone still looking to hop on board and grab a copy of Goblin Party, the late pledge will stay open until we send the order out in January. You can find it here on BackerKit.

Here’s a look at our Hobgoblin, featuring five different blade options, each designed to represent their clan.

Wishing you all happy holidays and a great start to the new year. See you in January!

Cheers,

Lars & Eric
